Stopping to watch outstanding sunset before continuing to your desert camp for a magical night under the stars. Futhermore, experience the rich Berber culture with a tour of Merzouga, including a visit to Khamlia, where you’ll meet African descendants of the region and listen to their traditional music of Gnawa.

Top Itinerary of Morocco 9 Day Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrival in Fes:

Upon arrival at the airport in Fes, our driver will be waiting for you to transfer your to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 9 Day Morocco itinerary.

Day 2: Fes Full day sightseeing:

In the morning, your local tour guide will meet you at your accommodation in Fes then start your sightseeing tour of the city. First, we’ll visit Al Qaraouine university, World’s oldest university and UNESCO world heritage site. After that, make a visit to Madrasa Bouaanania and Attarine Madrasa. Next, we’ll make a visit to Batha museum. Following that, strol through the lively souks of the old Medina of Fes and enjoy its beautifully narrow streets and alleyways.

Following lunch, we’ll drive outside the Medina of Fes to visit the Royal Palace gate, wander through its golden doors. Next,  stroll through the Jewish quarter known as “the Mellah,” and visit a pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we’ll head Borj Nord to take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes later we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3:Fes - Cedar Forest of Azrou - Merzouga desert (7H):

After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we drive along the way to the Sahara desert of Merzouga and then passing through Ifrane, Morocco’s little Switzerland. Following that, continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to Barbary Monkeys, where you can feed them and explore the forest. We will then continue to Midelt for a lunch stop. Later on, continue to Merzouga desert via Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, making stops to admire the breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains.

Passing through Arfoud known as the Date capital where you’ll visit a fossil museum in the city and then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga through the black rocky desert marveling the lovely sceneries along the way. 

By the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert of  Merzouga and then enjoy a camel ride through the wondous dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stopping to watch an incredible sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the third night of your Morocco 9 days itinerary in the middle of the desert with a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga Full day tour:

Wake up early in the morning to watch a magnificent sunrise over the amazing dunes of Merzouga After enjoying your breakfast, ride your camel through the lovely dunes of Erg Chebbi back to Merzouga village where you’ll meet your driver and then set off on a full day sightseeing tour where you’ll explore Merzouga region including Tanmoust, Hassi lbeid and Khamlia.

We continue our trip by driving off-road to visit an ancient fossils, followed by a stop to meet local nomads in their traditional tents, learn about their life and experience Berber pizza. Afterward, we head to the village of Khamlia, where you’ll be treated to a performance of Gnaoua music and dance, a tradition brought by people from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After some free time for lunch at a local restaurant then we’ll take a peaceful walk through Hassi Lbeid oases. 

Late afternoon, you’ll have some free time to try Buggy or Quad ride. If interested, then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5 :Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Kalaat M'gouna (4H):

After breakfast at your accommodation in Merzouga, we’ll continue your Morocco 9 day itinerary, passing through Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. There, we’ll visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and explore the lively souks of Rissani, known for the traditional Madfouna. Our fes trip then takes us to Tourog and Melaab, with a stop at a Berber cooperative where you can try Henna (the Moroccan tattoo) or experience a traditional Berber wedding dress (free & optional).

Later we’ll pass through the palm groves of Tinghir, admiring the incredible landscapes and stopping to capture panoramic views of the Tinghir oasis. Upon reaching the Todra Gorges, you’ll enjoy a walk through the impressive canyon before we continue to Dades Gorges, marveling at the red mountains along the route.

Arriving in Dades Gorges, then we’ll visit the famous rock formations known as Monkey Fingers and the winding road of Tisadrine. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your Kasbah, where you’ll spend the night in Dades Valley.

Day 6 :Kalaat M'gouna - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech (5H):

After breakfast in Dades Valley, we’ll continue your Morocco itinerary 9 days by heading to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley, known for its annual Rose Festival held in May. Afterward, we’ll make a visit at a local cooperative for rose perfumes, rose water, oils, and cosmetics (optional stop). Later on We’ll drive through the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert.” we will visit film studios where many famous international/national movies have been filmed. 

Additionally, we explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. where movies like Galidator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy were filmed, and one of the best places to visit in Morocco

Next, We continue our trip to Marrakech, driving through Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m) and the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and to capture photos at scenic viewpoints over the majestic Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, we arrive Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7:Marrakech Full day sightseeing:

In the morning, your local guide will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech and then begin your full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech. First, visit Majorelle Garden (online ticket is required) and Badi Palace. Following that, we’ll head the old Medina of Marrakech, walk along its streets visit Semmarine and sekkakine souks.

Next, we’ll explore Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco and Menara Garden. Following that, we’ll take you to Gulez the new part of Marrakech, explore this modern part of the city. After that, we’ll continue your full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech by walking through the Djamaa Lfena Sequare where you’ll watch some fun activities including snake charmers, musicians and storytellers. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your 9 day Morocco itinerary from Fes to Fes.

Day 8:Marrakech - Rabat - Fes (6H):

In the morning, we’ll depart from Marrakech, enjoying the amazing sceneries along the way as we make our way to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Once in Rabat, we’ll visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Oudaya Kasbah, followed by a stroll through the lively streets of Chellah.

Next, we’ll head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Upon arrival, we’ll explore Bab Mansour and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later in the afternoon, we’ll continue to Fes admiring the amazing natural landscapes along the way arriving in Fes transfer you to your accommodation where you Morocco 9 day itinerary comes to an end.

To book the 9 day Morocco itinerary, start by reaching out to us via WhatsApp, email, contact form, or social media. Once we finalize the perfect itinerary for your trip, we’ll ask for a small deposit, payable through PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer, to confirm your reservations. After receiving the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation of your trip. The remaining balance must be paid in cash upon pick-up or Credit card with an additional 5% fee.

What is your cancellation policy if something comes up and I need to cancel?

Your deposit will be refunded if you cancel more than 15 days before the start date of your trip. If you cancel within 15 days, however, the full deposit will be charged.

Where should I meet the driver upon arrival? Is there a designated meeting point?

Our driver will pick you up from your location, whether it’s the airport or your accommodation. Please provide us with your accommodation address so that the driver will pick you up there at 8:40 a.m.

If I prefer not to go to the camp by camel, is there any other ways to get there?

Certainly, we offer a 4×4 Jeep as an alternative to camel rides for transferring you to the camp.

If I go to the camp by camel, will my luggage be transported there as well?

Absolutely, we provide a 4×4 jeep to transport your luggage to the camp.
