4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

Your incredible 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga starts with a pick up from your Riad at 8:40 am. Then, taking you towards the Sahara desert of Merzouga, passing through the impressive Tizi-n-Tichka pass reaching 2,260 meters, connecting Marrakech to Ouarzazate, appreciating the lovely sceneries along way.

Stopping briefly to appreciate the breathtaking sceneries of the Atlas Mountains. After that, we stop at some Berber villages perched on the High Atlas Mountains on our way to Ouarzazate. Afterward, we continue your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga to Ait Ben Haddou, where we’ll break for lunch. Explore Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a famous as fortified village and significant historical site, famous for its role as a backdrop in numerous films such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.

Later in the day, we drive to the city of Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa where we’ll visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous Film Studio of Ouarzazate. Following that, we drive through the road of Thousand kasbahs. Arriving in Skoura famous for its remarkable oasis and then, we continue our trip via Kalaat M’gouna or the rose city. On the top of that, we make a visit to a local cooperatives that makes cosmetic products from the roses (optional stop).

Next, Head to Dades Gorges, taking in the finest sceneries along the way by late afternoon, we arrive in Dades Gorges and then transfer you to your Kasbah where you’ll spend the night in Dades Valley.

After warm breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges, our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert proceeds towards the striking Todgha Gorges, offering unbelievable panoramic landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Todra Gorges, take a tour along the riverside, relishing in its magnificent sceneries at the gorges towering at 352 meters high.

Following this, we continue our trip through small Berber towns like Tinjdad and Melaab. As soon as we reach Melaab ( Berber town) we’ll visit Berber house where you’ll get the chance to immerse yourself in Berber culture and get henna tatto (optional), and then drive along the rocky desert untill we arrive in Erfoud, famous as the Date capital, known for its annual date festival. 

In the late afternoon, we continue to Merzouga desert, the gateway to the Sahara, making yourself ready to join an impressive camel trekking through the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi where you’ll witness a remarkable sunset and spend a magical night under stars at your luxury desert camp.

You will wake up to see a brilliant sunrise and walk on the Erg Chebbi sand dunes appreciating the beautiful desert landscapes. Afterward, you will have the option to return to Merzouga by 4×4 vhicle, or camel; the route is about 5 kilometers.

After meeting your driver by the dunes of Merzouga. Then, leaving the desert and heading toward Agdz, with a stop in Rissani where you’ll visit the historic Moulay Ali Cherif mausoleum. Afterward, explore the souks of Rissani. Following that, we continue our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga to Alnif on the way, then we will make stops to see impressive places including the fantastic Nkob,known as the kindgom of Kasbahs and Draa Valley, which is considered the longest valley in Morocco with 1100 km, the river water around 3000 date farms.

At midday, we drive to Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa, appreciating the finest sceneries along the way. Once we arrive in Ouarzazate, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate, and then drive back to Marrakech, visiting the Film Studio and Taourirt Kasbah. Following that, cross the high Atlas Mountains.
