Morocco 5 Day Itinerary From Tangier: Fes, Desert & Marrakech

Your will be picked up from your Hotel or the airport in Tangier, and then set off on your Morocco itinerary 5 days from Tangier to Marrakech, admiring the finest sceneries along the way, crossing the majestic Riff Mountains, passing by Tetouan known as” The White Dove” then continue towards the Blue city of Chefchaouan. Along the way, you’ll visit Akchour waterfalls where you can relax and chill out along Akchour valley.

Next, continue to Chefchaouan, Morocco’ Blue city, take a walk along the famous blue walls, and then go to Ras El Ma River. Following that, make a visit to the Spanish Mosque, and then proceed your trip with a drive toward Fes, enjoying the incredible sceneries along the way. Making stop at Volubilis, UNESCO world heritage site, and best preserved roman ruins in Morocco then drive to Fes where you’ll spend the first night of your 5 day Morocco itinerary.

In the morning, wake up to watch a marvelous sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga and then enjoy breakfast at your desert camp in Merzouga. Following that, leave the desert and then proceed towards the city of Rissani, admire the breathtaking sceneries along the way; before traveling to Rissani, make a stop to see a nomad family where you can learn more about their way of life and visit the Moulay Ali Cherfi Mausoleum. Following that, stroll through Rissani’s bustling souks.

Afterward, drive towards Todra Gorges, marvel the best attractions along the way. Next, we’ll visit Fezna, an ancient irrigation system that was once used by the nomads to water the oasis. After that, arrive at the striking Todra Gorges, where you’ll have the chance to walk along the canyons with your local guide.

Later in the day, explore the rock formation known as ”The Monkey Fingers” and the famous Tisdrine road. Finally, end the day at a charming place for an overnight stay in Dades Valley.

After breakfast at your Kasbah in Dades valley, take the road of 1000 Kasbahs continue your journey to Marrakech. Our first stop will be Kalaat Mgouna, known as the rose city where we’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. Next, head to Ouarzazate passing via Skoura where you’ll visit the kasbah of Ameridil.

Then continue to Ouarzazate known for its Film studios, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn about film production by visiting one of the studios. Next, you’ll visit the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which was featured in movies like “The Mummy, Gladiator and Game of Thrones then we travel across the scenic Tichka Pass enjoying the breathtaking views the place has to offer.

Following that, we’ll stop at an argan oil cooperative to see how the oil is produced then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Start your full-day sightseeing tour in the morning by meeting your local guide in Marrakech. Then explore the historic Medina of Marrakech, stroll through its bustling streets, and visit the Semmarine and Sekkakine Souks.

Addionally, we’ll head to the beautiful Majorelle Garden, followed by a visit to Koutoubia Mosque. After that, you’ll explore Saadian Tombs, Madrasa Ben Youssef, and Badi Palace. Later, visit Djamaa el-Fna  Sequare to experience the vibrant atmosphere and watch some activities like musicians, storytellers, and magicians. In the late afternoon, take you to the airport or your hotel in Marrakech, concluding your Morocco 5 day itinerary with amazing memories.
