4-Day Tour from Fes to Marrakech

In the morning, you’ll meet your local guide of Fes and begin your full-day sightseeing trip with a visit to Dar Elmakhzan, often known as the Royal Palace. Following that, visit Tanneries where leather is used to make clothes, bags, shoes…etc. Afterward, visit Moulay Idriss Mausoleum,the founder of Fes.

Stopping in Ifrane known as “The  Little Switzerland of Morocco”. We then continue our journey over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the Cedar Forst of Morocco, Morocco’s Largest Forest where you’ll get the chace to photograph Barbary Monkeys. 

Next, We continue our way through Midelt known as the Appel Capital. Next, we traverse through Tizi N Talghamt pass, arriving in Er-rich where you’ll see the beautiful Berber villages across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, we’ll pass via Errachidia. Making stop at Panorama over the Ziz Valley admiring one of the largest oases in Morocco. 

Following this, we continue your 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via Erfoud famous as the date Capital, the city is known for its annual date festival. Following that, we’ll make a visit to a fossil museum in the city before heading to the Sahara desert of Merzouga passing via the Majestic Tafilalet Oasis where you’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis.

Upon your arrival at the Sahara desert of Merzouga, meet your camel guide at the duneline and then start your camel riding adventure crossing the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Reaching the top dune where you’ll stop to watch an incredible sunset like never before continue to your desert camp where you will spend a fantastic night with drumming party around the campfire. 

In the early morning, wake up to witness  the best sunrise of your trip. Following a delightful breakfast at your desert camp, you have the option of returning to Merzouga town either by a camel or a comfortable 4×4 Jeep . Next, proceed your 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech with a picturesque journey towards Boumalne Dades, passing through Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Make a visit to Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and walk through its busy souks.

Today is the last day of your 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. After breakfast, head to Kalaat M’gouna, also known as the Rose City where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop).Next, head through Skoura, taking the road of 1,000 kasbahs. Stopping at Amridile, a fortified Kasbah. Following that, drive to Ouarzazate over the harsh rocky desert, soaking in the breathtaking sceneries along the way.

Arriving in Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa, see the Taourirt Kasbah and Ouarzazate Film Studios. After lunch, explore Ait Ben Haddou, a walled town and UNESCO World Heritage Site where movies such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy were filmed.

Following that, we cross through the High Atlas Mountains.
