At 8:00 a.m., your driver will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Fes, then start your 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech by heading southeast of Morocco, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes along the way. Then, The journey continues with a drive through Immouzar, a small Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, before arriving in Ifrane, known as ” Morocco’s Little Switzerland.” There, you’ll visit the Atlas lion statue and enjoy a coffee in the city.

Next,  drive through Cedar Forest of Azrou, the largest forest in Morocco, where you’ll stop to take some photos with Barbary monkeys and feed them. Afterward, continue through Zaida and Midelt, known as”The Apple Capital,” where you’ll stop for lunch. As you descend into the Ziz Valley, you’ll admire the charming sceneries before arriving in Aoufous, ”The Gateway to the Saharan oasis”. A stop will be made at Aoufous Oasis, one of the largest in the country.

Next, proceed with your 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech heading to Merzouga desert, with a stop in Arfoud, known as the date capital, where you’ll visit a fossil museum. Finally, arrive in Merzouga desert, where you’ll join on a camel ride across the dunes, enjoying the lovely sceneries along the way and then stop for an incredible sunset over the dunes of Merzouga and then proceed to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire, without doubt, this would be the best night of your trip.

Early in the morning, wake up to watch an incredible sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After having breakfast at your desert camp, you’ll depart for Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. On the way, you’ll stop to visit a nomad family and learn about their way of life. Following that, continue to Rissani, and visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and then take a stroll through the vibrant souks of the city.

Next, continue to the Todra Gorges, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the Tafilalet oasis along the way. Once in Melaab, you’ll visit a Berber cooperative where you can try Henna, the traditional Moroccan tattoo (optional) and then continue to Todra Gorges, one of the most spectacular and narrowest gorges in Morocco, and best destination for mountain climbers, enjoy a walk and take in the incredible sceneries. 

Afterward, drive to Dades Gorges, where you’ll visit the famous rock formation known as “Monkey Fingers” and the winding road of Tisadrine spending the second night of your 3 day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech at a kasbah in the Dades Valley.

After enjoying a warm breakfast at the kasbah in Dades Valley, set off for Marrakech, passing through several marvelous destinations. First, we’ll stop in Kalaat M’gouna, known as the “rose city,” where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products and then take the road of 1000 kasbahs, admiring the beautiful landscapes along the way, with a stop to visit the Ameridile kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs in the region.

Next, continue to Ouarzazate, famously known as “Hollywood of Africa.” There, you’ll visit the Taourirt kasbah and the film studios. Afterward, the journey takes you to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a favorite place for filmmakers, where movies like “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones” were filmed.

After lunch, head through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 meters high). In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport, concluding your fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days with wonderful memories to remember.
