Morocco 8 Day Itinerary from Marrakech:

Upon arrival at the airport in Marrakech, our driver will be there to greet you and transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your Morocco 8 day itinerary.

In the morning, start your full day tour of Marrakech with local guide. Firstly, visit the famous Tanneries, where leather is used to make a variety of goods, including clothes, bags, and shoes. Afterward, visit Saadian Tomb, and Bahia Palace. Afterward, we visit Majorelle Gardens, a site packed with site, as part of our full-day tour. Next, we continue your tour of Marrakech with a visit to Badi Palace, a prominent historic site in the city.

We then continue to the well-known Menara, large garden with a lot to see. After that, we take you to Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco. Later on, head to the busy Dejamaa Lfna plaza, where you get a peek of some fun activities like snake charmers, musicians, storytellers, and dancers. After that, enjoy a leisurely stroll around the colorful souks and important historical sites of Marrakech’s old Medina. At last, we’ll watch a breathtaking sunset and then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night. 

In the morning, start your journey with a pick-up from your Riad in Marrakech, followed by a fabulous  trip toward Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas Mountains, heading to Dades Gorges and descending through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2,260m), admire the lovely Berber villages perched on the slope of the High Atlas Mountains feel free to take some fantastic shots with the traditional Berber villages.

Then, stop at an Argan Oil Cooperative, where you’ll be able to discover the traditional method of producing Argan Oil (optional stop). Following this, Continue towards Ouarzazate, passing through the  rocky desert and stopping at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a walled town and UNESCO World Heritage site known for being best filming location where movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy were filmed. 

Next, we’ll visit Taourirt and the famous film studios of Ouarzazate, After lunch, take a drive through the Dades Valley along the famous thousand Kasbahs road, passing via the admirable oasis of Skoura, and then continue to Kelaat M’gouna, famous for its rose festival. 

Arriving in Boumalne Dades, and then visit the rock formation known as Monkey Fingers” and the beautiful road of Tisadrine. After that, we transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the fourth night of your Morocco 8 day itinerary.

After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, we head to Todra Gorges, admiring the amazing sceneries along the route. Upon arrival in Todra Gorges, take a stroll across the river that crosses the Todra Gorges, which is 332 meters high. Following that, explore the wonderful palm groves of Tinghir. Stopping at Tinjdad for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterward, we continue your 8 dayMorocco itinerary from Marrakech, through Berber villages including Melaab where you’ll get the chance to experience Henna known as the Moroccan tattoo (optional).  Next continue to your fabulous destination, Merzouga Desert, offering you the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride through the captivating, rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi. 

A stop to watch the breathtaking sunset over the incredible golden sand dunes, which like elegantly flowing sculptures stretched across the ground. Witness the colors vary in response to changing light intensity, giving the appearance of living walls in the desert, with some soaring up to 150 meters. After a delicious dinner and a musical party with the locals, spend a beautiful night under the stars in nomadic tents taking in the tranquility and silence of the desert.

In the morning, wake up for lovely sunsrise over the dunes of Merzouga, continue your Morocco 8 day itinerary towards Fes. Passing through Erfoud, known as the date capital and for its fossils, take time to explore one of the city’s museums before continuing on to Errachidia. Following that, enjoy the breathtaking view of the town of Aoufous, where you can explore one of the largest oasis in Morocco.

We’ll then drive via Errachidia stopping for lunch at a local restaurant in Er- rich. Next, continue to Midelt passing through Tizi N Talghamt pass, admiring the lovely views of the Atlas Mountains along. Upon arrival in Midelt, often known as the “Apple Capital,” explore this little paradise. Then, we continue 8 day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech to Marrakech via the Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest.  Late afternoon, arrive in Ifrane, also known as Morocco’s Little Switzerland. Finally, arrive in Fes and  transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

In the morning, meet your local tour guide of Fes, and then begin your full day sightseeing by strolling through its small alleys, revealing its hidden sites. First, explore Al Karaouine University, the world’s oldest University and UNESCO world heritage site, and then uncover Jewish district. Afterward, take in the splendor of the small alleyways and see the leather tanneries, where workers are immersed in poisonous baths to cure the leather. Following that, make a visit Madrasa Bouaanania, one of the oldest school in Morocco built by Marinid.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Batha museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the founder of the historic city of Fes by late afternoon, we’ll take you to Borj Nord where you’ll see the whole Medina of Fes. At last, transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

We’ll leave Fes and travel to Chefchaouen, stopping at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, UNESCO world heritage site and then visit the famous village of Moulay Idriss I. Following lunch, our journey continues to Meknes, known as “The Moroccan Versailles,” and one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, founded by Moulay Ismail in the 17th century.

There, we’ll visit some historical sites in the city including Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Bab Mansour Gate. After that, cross the Riff Mountains heading toward the Blue city of Chefchaouan,and then make a stop at the city of Ouazzane

Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, known for its lovely blue-washed alleyways, we’ll start a local tour to discover the city’s charm and visit local artisan cooperatives (optional). Afterward, visit the Spanish Mosque and stroll through the lively streets of the old Medina of Chefchaouan then transfer you to your riad where the night is spent. 

After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouan, we’ll drive towards Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, taking the amazing sceneries of the Rif Mountains. when you arrive in Rabat, explore the city’s historical sites such as Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and then explore Oudaya Kasbah.

Following that, we will take you to Chellah. After lunch, our journey continues towards Marrakech. By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Marrakech and transfer you to your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech concluding your Morocco 8 day itinerary from Marrakech to Marrakech.
