10- Day in Morocco from Fes

After a tasty breakfast, we go south via Imouzzer, where you’ll make a stop and then continue to the charming city of Ifrane famous for its cool climate and snow known as ” The Switzerland of Morocco.” We’ll then continue through the Cedar forest, Morocco’s Largest Forest and home to the Barbary Monkeys. 

Take some photographs and feed the monkeys. Following that, we continue your 10 days in Morocco from Fes to Midelt, where you’ll have some free time for lunch. Afterward, we drive to Merzouga, passing through Tizi  N Tilghmt pass descending through the Ziz valley. Making stops along the way to take in panoramic views.

In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you’ll ride the camels crossing the dunes of Erg Chebbi, admiring the lovely sceneries of the desert. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset over the dunes and then continue to your desert camp, free time to try sandboarding before a drumming party around the campfire followed by dinner.

After breakfast at your hotel, we leave the desert to reach Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani, also known as ”The Trade city” walk along its traditional souks if it happens you arrive on Sunday or Thursday as it is the weekly market. After being done with Rissani, We head toward Todra Gorges, making a stop at a Berber House where you can try Henna, known as the Moroccan Tattoo (Free & optional).

Our 10 days trip from Fes continues via the palm groves of Tinghir. Arriving in the Todra Gorges, walk along the charming river with your local guide, the place is  great choice for mountain climbers. Take some time to meander through the gorges and enjoy the amazing sceneries. Following a lunch break at a local restaurant, we continue to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, making stop at the rock formation known as ‘Monkey Fingers’ overnight at your kasbah.

After breakfast, we leave Dades Gorges heading towards Kalaa Magouna famous as the Rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for roses (optional). Next, drive through the road of 1000 kasbah admiring the amazing sceneries along the way. Passing through the marvelous skoura Oases making a visit to Amerdile kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs in the regions. 

Following that, we arrive in  Ouarzazate, also known as Hollywood of Africa, We will visit the Film Studio of Ouarzazate, and Taourirt kasbah. Followed by a visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou where movies have been shot like Gladiator, Games of Thrones, and the Mummy.

Continuing our 10- Day in Morocco from Fes by crossing the Majestic Atlas Mountains, Stopping at the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 m). Arriving in Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast at your Riad in Marrakech, begin your full day tour of Marrakech by meeting your local tour guide. First, visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, second largest Mosque in Morocco. After that, visit Bahia Palace, Badi Palace and Saadian Tombs and then enjoy a walk through Semmarine souk. Following that, we’ll take you to Majorelle Garden, a great place with a lot to see, Next, we’ll head to Mellah district, walk along the lively streets of the old Medina of Marrakech.

Late afternoon, time to watch some lively acitivities in Djamaa Lfna Sequare; Musicians, storytellers, Magicians and snake charmers. Following that, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you will spend the night.

After a warm breakfast at your Riad, we’ll drive to the lovely city of Essaouira, enjoying the finest sceneries along the way. Making stop at an Argan oil cooperative to learn about argan oil making process. Afterwards, drive to Essaouira, known as Mogador, a major seaside city in Morocco, we make a stop to photograph some harvesting goats. Arriving in Essaouira, drop your luggage off, and enjoy a guided tour of the city.

Visit the old medina of Essaouira, walk through its beautifully narrow streets and head to its port where a you’ll find a diverse of seafood . After lunch, savor a walk along the wonderful beaches of Essaouira, Next, we’ll take you to Sidi Kaouki not very far from the city. It has some great beaches where you can swin, chill out, unwind and relax. Late afternoon, take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, continue your 10 days tour along the coast to Casablanca, Morocco’s commercial hub and the largest city in Morocco where we will visit Hassan II Mosque, Africa’ second Largest Mosque, and the Casablanca Cornish. Free time for lunch. Then drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. city.

Upon arrival in Rabat, visit Hassan Tower,  Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Chellah; walk along its lively souks and explore the best of Rabat, later on, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

1. Option 1: In the morning, picking you up from your accommodation in Chefchaouan then head to Tangier taking in the finest sceneries along the way crossing the Riff Mountains. Stopping to visit Akchour waterfalls, Arriving in Tangier drop you off at the airport or your accommodation in Tangier.
2. Option 2: Pick you up from your accommodation in Chefchaouan, making a stop at Volubilis, one of the best Roman ruins and UNESCO world heritage site, continue your trip via Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco explore Bab Mansour Gate, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and then drive to Fes drop you off at the airport or your accommodation.
