In the morning, we’ll start your day trip from Fes to Meknes with a pick up at your accommodation in Fes, enjoy the scenic drive along the way to Maknes, admiring the fines sceneries along the way. First, explore the Best preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis and UNESCO world heritage site.
Following that, continue our way to Meknes , a city rich in history and fascinating sites considered one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. You’ll visit the grand Bab Al Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the royal Palace where the king’s horses were once housed. We’ll also take you to explore the large Heri Es Souani, which was used for food storage concluding your day trip from Fes to Meknes with a walk along Lhdim Sequare where you’ll watch lively activities including snake charmers, musicians and Storytellers.
Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation or the airport in Fes.
We were three of us, and took this amazing one day trip from Fes to Meknes, which was incredible. We got to visit many places all in a single day. Our driver, Moha, went above and beyond to give us detailed information about the historical sites in Meknes. We also visited Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, and Volubilis.

We had a wonderful day trip to Meknes with our driver, Mustapha. The journey began early at 8:00 a.m. as we drove to Volubilis and then headed to Meknes, where we explored this imperial city. We visited several attractions, including the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Bab Mansour. The trip was fantastic, and Mustapha was an excellent guide throughout.
