Top Itinerary of 9- Day Tour from Fes to Fes:

Day 1:Arrival in Fes :

Upon arrival at the airport in Fes, our driver will be waiting for you to transfer your to your accommodation where you’ll spend the first night of your 9 days tour from Fes to Fes.

Day 2: Fes Full day sightseeing:

In the morning, your local tour guide will meet you at your accommodation in Fes then start your sightseeing tour of the city. First, we’ll visit Al Qaraouine university, World’s oldest university and Unesco world heritage site. After that, make a visit to Madrasa Bouaanania and Attarine Madrasa. Next, we’ll make a visit to Batha museum.

Following lunch, we’ll drive outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, stroll through the Jewish quarter known as “the Mellah,” and visit a pottery cooperative.  In the afternoon, we’ll head Borj Nord to take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes transfer to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3:Fes - Cedar Forest of Azrou - Merzouga desert (7H):

After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we drive along the way to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Making stop at Ifrane, Morocco’s little Switzerland. Following that, continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou  home to Barbary Monkeys, where you can feed them and explore the forest. We will then continue to Midelt for a lunch stop. From there, we continue to Merzouga desert via Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, making stops to admire the breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains.

Passing through Arfoud known as the Date capital where you’ll visit a fossil museum in the city and then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga through the black rocky desert.

By the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert of  Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a camel ride through the lovely dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stopping to watch an incredible sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night in the middle of the desert with a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga Full day tour:

Wake up early in the morning to watch an incredible sunrise over the amazing dunes of Merzouga After enjoying your breakfast, ride your camel through the lovely dunes of Erg Chebbi back to Merzouga village where you’ll meet your driver and then set off on a full day sightseeing tour where you’ll explore Merzouga region including Tanmoust, Hassi lbeid and Khamlia.

We continue our trip by driving off-road to visit an ancient fossils, followed by a stop to meet local nomads in their traditional tents, learn about their life and experience Berber pizza.  Next, we head to the village of Khamlia, where you’ll be treated to a performance of Gnaoua music and dance, a tradition brought by people from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After some free time for lunch at a restaurant, we’ll take a peaceful walk through Hassi Lbeid oases. 

Late afternoon, Free time to try Buggy or Quad ride. If interested, then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5 :Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Kalaat M'gouna (4H):

After breakfast at your accommodation in Merzouga, we’ll continue your 9-day tour from Fes, passing through Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Here, we’ll visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and explore the lively souks of Rissani, known for the traditional Madfouna. Our trip then takes us to Tourog and Melaab, with a stop at a Berber house where, if you’re interested, you can try Henna (the Moroccan tattoo) or experience a traditional Berber wedding dress (free & optional).

We’ll pass through the palm groves of Tinghir, admiring the incredible landscapes and stopping to capture panoramic views of the Tinghir oasis. Upon reaching the Todra Gorges, you’ll enjoy a walk through the impressive canyon before we continue to Dades Gorges, marveling at the red mountains along the route.

Arriving in Dades Gorges, we’ll visit the famous rock formations known as Monkey Fingers and the winding road of Tisadrine. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your Kasbah, where you’ll spend the night at your Kasbah in Dades Valley.

Day 6 :Kalaat M'gouna - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech (5H):

After breakfast in Dades Valley, we drive to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley, known for its annual Rose Festival held in May. Next, we’ll make a visit to local cooperative for rose perfumes, rose water, oils, and cosmetics (optional stop). We’ll then drive through the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “gateway to the desert.” we will visit film studios where many famous movies were filmed.

Next, we explre the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. where movies like Galidator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy were filmed.

We continue our trip to Marrakech, driving through Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m) and the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and to capture photos at scenic viewpoints. Late afternoon, we arrive Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7:Marrakech Full day sightseeing:

In the morning, your local guide will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech and then begin your full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech. First, visit Majorelle Garden (online ticket is required) and Badi Palace. Following that, we’ll head the old Medina of Marrakech, walk along its streets visit Semmarine and sekkakine souks.

Next, we’ll explore Koutoubia Mosque and Menara Garden. Following that, we’ll drive to Gulez the new part of Marrakech, explore this modern part of the city. Following that, we’ll continue your full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech by walking through the Djamaa Lfena Sequare where you’ll watch some fun activities including snake charmers, musicians and storytellers. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodations where you’ll spend the night.

Day 8:Marrakech - Rabat - Fes (6H):

In the morning, we’ll depart from Marrakech, enjoying the amazing sceneries along the way as we make our way to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Once in Rabat, we’ll visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Oudaya Kasbah, followed by a stroll through the lively streets of Chellah.

Next, we’ll head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Upon arrival, we’ll explore Bab Mansour and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later in the afternoon, we’ll continue to Fes, where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation or the airport concluding your 9 days tour from Fes to Fes with memories to remember.

To book the 9- Day Tour from Fes to Fes, we kindly require a small deposit to be paid via PayPal, Credit Card or Bank transfer so as to make the necessary reservations for the trip. Once the payment is received, we’ll send you the booking confirmation of your trip. The rest of the payment must be paid in cash upon pick-up time.

Where should I meet the driver upon arrival? Is there a designated meeting point?

Our driver will pick you up from your location, whether it’s the airport or your accommodation. Please provide us with your accommodation address so that the driver will pick you up there at 8:40 a.m.

If I prefer not to go to the camp by camel, is there any other ways to get there?

Certainly, we offer a 4×4 Jeep as an alternative to camel rides for transferring you to the camp.

If I go to the camp by camel, will my luggage be transported there as well?

Absolutely, we provide a 4×4 jeep to transport your luggage to the camp.

we just traveled on a 9 days tour from Fes to Fes, the trip was the best experience I’ve ever had! Ali was the main reason we had such an amazing time, and you absolutely have to request him as your guide! He is knowledgeable, hospitable, and incredibly courteous there’s nothing he won’t do to make your experience worth. We learned so much from him and truly Liked this trip!

Morocco is all about first-class experiences, and Ali  is the reason we’d come back and do it all again! Our group couldn’t stop chanting, “i like the trip” day after day! Ali (our driver) have become like family to us now!
