9- Day tour from Tangier to Marrakech

After a delicious breakfast at your Riad in Fes,  we’ll head toward Merzouga desert passing through Ifrane, known as ”Morocco’s Little Switzerland” enjoy a coffe at the city and then visit The Atlas Lion. 

Then continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest, where you can take photos with Barbary Monkeys. Then, we’ll take the road to Midelt often known as ” The Apple Capital”. There, we’ll stop for lunch. Next, we cross th High Atlas Mountains marveling the lovely sceneries along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Talghamt pass where you’ll have the chance to take some photographs. 

Next, we’ll drive toward Merzouga desert. Stopping in Aoufous for a panoramic view of the magnificient oasis, one of the largest oasis in Morocco. Next, we’ll pass through the amazing oasis of Tafilalet enjoying its palm groves. 

Arriving in Merzouga desert, start your camel ride adventure through the dunes of Erg Chebbi making stop over the High dune to watch an incredible sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night in the middle of the desert. 

Wake early morning for an incredible sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi and then enjoy a warm breakfast at your desert camp. Following that, start your Full day tour of Merzouga on 4×4 Jeep. First, visit nomad families behind the dunes of Merzouga, explore their way of life and enjoy their unique Berber pizza.

We’ll pick you up from your Riad in Merzouga and drive toward Dades Gorges, admiring the incredible sceneries along the way. Making stop at Rissani, one of the oldest cities of Morocco walk along its bustling streets and visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum. 

Next, we cross the palm groves of Tafilalet admiring the incredible sceneries along the way. We’ll make stop at a Berber house in Melaab where you’ll have the chance to get Henna Tattoo (Free & optional). Then, head to Todra Gorges, one of the Highest and narrowest Gorges in Morocco, enjoy a walk through the gorges with your guide. After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant. We’ll drive to Dades Gorges, taking in the finest sceneries along the way. 

Upon arrival in Dades Gorges, we’ll make a visit to the formation known as ”Monkey Fingers” and the winding road of Tisadrine. Following that, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spedn the night in Dades Valley.

In the morning, we’ll continue your 9 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech taking the road of 1000 kasbahs, we’ll pass through kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose city where you’ll have the chance to visit a local cooperative for roses (optional stop).

Next, continue your trip to Skoura, where you’ll visit Amridil kasbah, one of the ancient Kasbahs in the region. After that, we’ll head to Ouarzazte known as Holywood of Africa, explore the film Studio of Ouarzazate, and Taourirt Kasbah, which was inhabited by the Jewish many centuries now it has become a populat tourist destination. 

After lunch, we continue our way towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO world heritage site and Best place for film makers where several movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy, explore the kasbah with your guide. Next, we ‘ll pass through the Majestic High Atlas Mountains, admiring the incredible sceneries along the way. 

Stopping at the Tizi N Tichka pass, 2260 merters High for some photographing opportunities. Arriving in Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your 9 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech.

Your guided tour of Marrakech will begin at 10:00 am with your local guide. Start by exploring the historic Medina, wandering through its bustling streets and visiting Sekkakine and Semmarine souks. Next, we’ll visit the Saadian Tombs and Badi Palace. Afterward, we’ll take you to the beautiful Majorelle Garden and Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Then, we’ll head to the Koutoubia Mosque, the second-largest mosque in Morocco.

Next, you’ll explore the Ben Youssef Madrasa, one of the oldest Quranic schools in Marrakech. Later in the afternoon, we’ll visit the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you can watch various activities like snake charmers, musicians, magicians, and storytellers.
