Top 4 Day Morocco Tour from Tangier: Desert & Marrakech

Our exciting 4 days Morocco Tour starts with a pick up from your hotel or the airport in Tangier and then drive through the breathtaking Riff Mountains, admiring the amazing views as we go. Afterward, Make a stop at Akchour waterfalls, walk along its breathtaking river before heading to Chefchaouan.

Late afternoon, drive to Fes finally transfer you to your accommodation where the night is spent. 

After a warm breakfast at your riad in Fes, we’ll continue your  Morocco 4 day tour from Tangier to Marrakech toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga. On the way, we’ll stop in the lovely city of Ifrane, known as ”Morocco’s little switzerland”, offering you a chance to unwind and enjoy the incredible surroundings make a visit the Atlas lion statue and have a coffe. 

We’ll then cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at a Cedar forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest, where you’ll have the opportunity to see Barbary Apes and take some amazing photographs with. In addition to that, we continue toward Midelt known as ”the Apple Capital” where we’ll stop for lunch.

Our route takes us through the beautiful Ziz Valley, known for its palm tree oasis, admire the incredible sceneries and then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga passing through the majestic Tizi N Talghamt pass, enjoying the striking panorama over the Atlas Mountains. Later on, we arrive in Aoufous, where you’ll visit one of the largest palm groves oasis in Morocco. 

In the afternoon, we reach Merzouga and embark on a camel ride across the breathtaking dunes. We stop atop the high dunes to admire a magnificent sunset and capture some beautiful photos with your camel. Upon arriving at the desert camp, savor a delightful dinner before gathering around a cozy campfire beneath the starry sky.  The camp team will entertain you with traditional Berber drumming and music, and you’re welcome to join in, adding to the lively and unforgettable ambiance of the night, without doubt, this would be the perfect night of your whole trip.

After a delicious breakfast at your desert camp in Merzouga, we continue your 4 days Morocco tour toward Marrakech,  drive to Rissani, enjoying  the breathtaking sceneries along the rocky desert. Upon arrival in Rissani, visit Moulay Ali Cherfi Mausoleum and then take a stroll through the lively souks of Rissani. After that, travel through the lovely oasis of Tafilate, making a visit to Berber cooperative on the way to Todgha Gorges, where you will have the opportunity to experience Berber weeding dress and get Henna (optional).

Next, pass through the palm groves of Tinghir, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Following that, arrive at Todra Gorges where you’ll see Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges towering 320 meters high. After a hearty lunch, continue toward Dades Gorges via the famous Road of 1000 Kasbahs.

Upon reaching Dades Gorges, you’ll visit the unique rock formations known as Monkey Fingers before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

In the morning, we’ll visit Tisadrine’s winding road before passing via Kalaat M’gouna, also known as the “rose city.” visit a local cooperative before traveling through Skoura’s palm groves and admiring the breathtaking sceneries along the way to Ouarzazate.

After that, we’ll explore Taourirt Kasbah and the film Studio of Ouarzazate. Then we’ll continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and Best place for filmmakers like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Afterward, we’ll pass through Tzi N Tichka pass 2,360-meter high and admiring the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, arrive in Marrakeh finally take you to your accommodation or the airport where your 4 day Morocco tour comes to an end.
